NAEF

The Natomas Arts and Education Foundation, or NAEF was founded in 2002 when budget cuts were especially unkind to arts programs in schools. We at NAEF love the arts and believe that creativity and passion are essential to a great education and an even fuller life.  Our mission is to provide opportunities along with a beautiful performance space to both students and community members alike. We maintain to open our minds and theater doors to all mediums of art and cultural events and to nurture a more conscious and compassionate community. We strive to maintain a well-managed and financially sound performing arts center by employing aptly qualified professionals with a passion for the theater and the people who enter its doors. We are motivated to enhance the learning experiences of student artists at Natomas Charter School and in the Sacramento area through creation of a series of residencies, workshops, and special performances by professionals in the field. Most important of all, we are inspired by the international arts community to create positive and unique experiences for the region we live in and love.
